Editorial policy – Focus on European Economic Integration

The Focus on European Economic Integration (FEEI) is a channel for communicating the OeNB’s ongoing research on Central, Eastern and Southeastern European (CESEE) countries, thus reflecting a strategic regional research priority of the OeNB. Contributions to the quarterly FEEI include peer reviewed studies dealing primarily with macrofinancial and monetary integration as well as economic country analyses and cross-regional comparisons.

The structure of the FEEI issues is as follows:

Recent Economic Developments(FEEI Q2 and Q4 issues)
This section provides an in-depth analysis of the economic developments in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia as well as Croatia, Turkey and Russia.
Studies
This section contains papers investigating in particular, but not only, macrofinancial and monetary integration in CESEE.
FEEI Q2 and Q4 issues feature the spring and fall wave updates of the OeNB Euro Survey in CESEE.
Highlights
This section provides summaries about OeNB events related to CESEE, such as lectures, East Jour Fixe meetings and the Conference on European Economic Integration (CEEI).
Statistical Annex(FEEI Q2 and Q4 issues)
This section presents statistical information on selected economic indicators for CESEE countries not covered in the Recent Economic Developments section, namely Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Ukraine.
