Financial Assets and Liabilities – Quarterly and Annual Tables for Nonfinancial Sectors
The data on financial assets comprise all claims arising from financial assets held by domestic nonfinancial corporations (S.11), general government entities (S.13) and households (S.14) as well as households including nonprofit institutions serving households (S.14 + S.15) against resident and nonresident borrowers. The liabilities data reflect the financial liabilities of domestic nonfinancial corporations (S.11), general government entities (S.13) and households (S.14) as well as households including nonprofit institutions serving households (S.14 + S.15) against resident and nonresident lenders. The tables show financial assets and liabilities for these sectors as a whole as well as broken down by selected key financial instruments. They cover both transactions and outstanding amounts on a quarterly and an annual basis.
