Financial Assets and Liabilities – Annual Tables for All Sectors
The data on financial assets comprise all claims arising from financial assets of the domestic sectors of the economy against resident and nonresident borrowers and the claims of the rest of the world against resident borrowers, whereas the liabilities data comprise all financial liabilities of the domestic sectors of the economy against resident and nonresident lenders plus all financial liabilities of the rest of the world against domestic lenders (excluding monetary gold and Special Drawing Rights). The tables show breakdowns by economic sectors and subsectors for all financial instruments and cover both transactions and outstanding amounts.
