International Comparisons

Here you will find financial and monetary statistics on individual euro area countries as well as euro area aggregates. The responsible national central banks (NCBs) in these countries collect and compile individual country data and calculate aggregates at the national level, which are then sent to the European Central Bank (ECB). ECB experts in turn compile aggregates for the euro area. The resulting data on the euro area countries are consistent and comparable and are provided centrally. The OeNB’s website offers access to selected euro area data, which are updated monthly. Other Eurosystem NCBs and the ECB have established similar information platforms.
