Notes:
This table shows consumer price developments as measured by the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) for the euro area and the euro area countries. The figures shown are index values. The index reference year is 2005=100. A value of 110, for example, indicates that prices have increased by 10% since 2005. The breakdown is in accordance with the classification of individual consumption by purpose adapted to the needs of the HICP (COICOP/HICP).
