Consolidated Financial Statement of the Eurosystem – Assets

Notes:

This table shows the asset side of the consolidated financial statement of the Eurosystem, which comprises all balance sheet items of the ECB and the national central banks, including gold and gold receivables as well as assets denominated in foreign currency and in euro.

Legal basis:

Guideline of the European Central Bank of 5 December 2002 on the legal framework for accounting and financial reporting in the European System of Central Banks (ECB/2002/10), Chapter VII, Article 22 in conjunction with Annex VI.

Methodology:

The consolidated balance sheets are compiled and sent to the national central banks on a weekly basis by the ECB directorate in charge of balance sheet consolidation (Internal Finance).
