Friday: 9:00 to 13:00
Closed Saturday to Monday and on holidays, December 24 und 31.
Admission is free and the Money Museum is barrier-free!
The money museum is closed from July 15 to 31, 2023, due to exhibition reconstruction.

Guided tours
To bring the story behind its exhibits to life, the OeNB’s Money Museum offers guided tours for all groups of visitors. The interactive tours give visitors the chance to learn more about the manifold aspects of money, monetary history and central banking.
To advance knowledge about money-related themes, the Money Museum of the OeNB has developed various guided tours for children and teenagers. The guided tours make learning about the exhibits on display enjoyable and intellectually stimulating for a young audience.
Guided tours and workshops are conducted for groups of 10 persons or more and are free of charge.

Parking facilities near the OeNB are limited and are all in fee-based short-term parking areas. A parking garage is located at Otto-Wagner-Platz (operated by Best in Parking).
Bus
It is not possible for coaches to park in front of the OeNB. The closest parking facility for busses is a ten-minute walk away, located between the University of Vienna and Rathauspark (Rathausplatz/Grillparzerstraße).
