COVID-19 precautions for OeNB events

latest update: October 2020

Dear Visitors at the OeNB,

at the OeNB, we are closely following the latest advice and guidance issued by the public health authorities. This is to inform you about the precautions we have taken to keep us all safe.

To proactively ensure our visitors and workforce remain safe, please stay at home if any of the following applies to you:

  • I am not feeling well
  • I am having a fever, cough, symptoms of a cold or difficulty breathing
  • I had contact with a COVID-19 patient
  • someone in my community may be infected with the virus and/or suffer from COVID-19

Should any of our visitors become infected with COVID-19, our public health authorities need to be able to contact-trace all other visitors. This is why we will ask you to share your contact details when registering for your event (please remember to bring along a valid ID).[1]
For international guests, it will be important to be up to date about their countries’ entry and exit rules.

Entrance and registration

OeNB event locations are accessible only through one entrance, where we provide automatic hand sanitizer dispensers for your use. Please keep a distance of at least one meter from people other than those in your household and avoid gatherings, especially when entering and leaving events.
When registering, mind the floor markings to keep a safe distance from other visitors. Do not line up in groups and help keep the flow of visitors moving.

Be sure to arrive on time (at least 15 minutes early), bearing in mind that the admission process may take longer due to the new precautions.

Face masks and hygiene practices

Please bring along face masks. At present, wearing face masks is obligatory on the OeNB’s premises.

Please make sure to keep a distance of one meter from people other than those in your household also after the registration process.

A face mask has to be worn continuously from the moment you enter the event premises – even at the assigned seat. Please note that we provide physically distanced seating and kindly ask you to comply with the seating arrangements.

Catering and breaks

Please avoid crowding, keep a safe distance (at least one meter) during breaks and when leaving, and remember to put face masks back on once you leave your seating area.

Our catering service closely follows official COVID-19 health & safety regulations.

Please keep a safe distance of at least one meter and wear face masks when networking during and after the event.

We make every effort to meet the COVID-19 safety requirements, but we can do so only with your assistance. The attendance of OeNB events is at your own risk and implies your consent for public authorities to disclose personal data if required.

Last but not least: We are looking forward to seeing you at the OeNB even under COVID-19 restrictions.
