Relaunch of myoenb.com
On January 15, 2020, the relaunch of the OeNB portal will go live. The basic functionalities will be updated to comply with the applicable Data Protection and E-Government Acts and to offer improved usability. From that date, the OeNB portal will not only provide access to OeNB apps but will also allow administrators to set up and manage user accounts.
To access OeNB apps, businesses will no longer have to request application rights from the OeNB by filling out various forms. Instead, corporate and application administrators will be able to assign rights to designated users themselves. This will help businesses cut through the red tape and speed up the process. Users who currently have more than one account will in future only need a single account thanks to the overhaul of the authorization process and apps. Following the upgrade, all current user data and app authorizations will be available in the new system.

In future, the OeNB portal will allow businesses, i.e. corporate administrators, to manage application administrators and users, and to define company settings. Following the relaunch, corporate administrators will only be able to access the OeNB portal via the Business Service Portal (“Unternehmensserviceportal”, USP). This ensures that corporate administrators are clearly mapped to a specific business. The USP is the Republic of Austria’s central web portal for businesses and provides direct access to many e-government applications and information pertinent to businesses. Apart from having access to all functions available to regular users, application administrators will be able to swiftly create and manage user accounts for their businesses at any time. They will also be able to grant user rights for OeNB apps. Application administrators will have to log on to the OeNB portal using their citizen card or mobile phone signature in order to provide proof of their identity.
To use an OeNB app which requires identification, authorized users need to log on using their citizen card or mobile phone signature. To use an OeNB app which does not require identification, users who are only authorized to use apps which do not require identification may still log on to the OeNB portal with a user name and password.
