| comment | Reporting date: The Wednesday between the sixth and the twelfth of each month has been laid down as the reporting date. The results are designed to be representative of the consumer habits of Austrian households. Weighting base: Weighting is based on the 2009/2010 consumer survey. Approximately 40,000 item prices are recorded in some 4, 200 shops in 20 cities, the basket of goods contains 760 goods and services. The CPI is a Laspeyres chain index. The chaining factor with the 2005 CPI is 1.1095 and with 2000 CPI is 1,211 and with CPI 1996 is 1,274. |
