1  These aggregates are compiled by Eurostat based on the most detailed level of the classification of individual consumption by purpose (ECOICOP). For more information on this classification please refer to the Eurostat HICP website (http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/pls/portal/url/page/PGP_DS_HICP ). These categories provide an alternative presentation of HICP data which are useful for economic analysis.
