Effective exchange rate indices of the euro

Description: This table shows the nominal effective exchange rate of the euro. This exchange rate index is calculated from the weighted geometric averages of bilateral euro exchange rates against the main trading partners of the euro area. The real effective exchange rate index corresponds to the nominal effective exchange rate index of the euro adjusted for the euro area’s inflation differential vis-à-vis its trading partners.
