Lending objects & image requests
Lending
The Money Museum regularly lends objects from its collections to museums and cultural and academic institutions in Austria and abroad. Loans are granted in accordance with international museum standards.
Following receipt of a formal loan request, processing usually takes around two months. For large numbers of objects or international loans, processing times are extended to at least three months.

Images
The Money Museum provides images of collection objects for exhibitions, catalogues, print media and academic works. Please note that not all objects have been digitised. For objects that have not yet been digitised, processing takes approximately three weeks.
Images of up to 20 MB are sent by e-mail. Larger files are provided via our file-sharing platform (OeNB Box). Key reproduction conditions can be found in the download section. The request form for image material is available here.
