Guided tours & workshops

The Money Museum offers free guided tours and workshops for groups of 10 or more.

General guided tour

  • overview of the permanent or special exhibition
  • duration: approximately 60 minutes
  • group size: min. 10, max. 25 participants (special exhibitions: max. 15)

Audioguide for individual visitors

  • self-guided tour with a free smartphone audioguide
  • available via the Hearonymus app 

Group visits without a guided tour

Due to space limitations, groups of 10 or more are kindly requested to book in advance, even if they do not require a guided tour.

Programmes for schools

Primary school

  • The treasure chest of the Money Museum – Discovering the history of money (Year 1–4, 50–60 min.)
  • The journey of money – understanding the cash cycle (Years 2–4, 60 min.)
  • Euro, Pound & Co. – exploring European currencies through play (Years 3–4, 60–70 min.)

Secondary School

  • guided tour of the permanent exhibition (50–60 min.)
  • individual thematic focus areas available, e.g. the history of money or about the euro
