Description:

This table shows year-end stocks of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Austria. The geographical breakdown is according to the headquarters of the ultimate beneficial owner, which may differ from the residency of the immediate owner. FDI stocks reflect equity capital and “other capital“ (largely intra-company loans). In contrast to the international investment position, this table does not include real estate owned by foreigners and investment in SPEs.
