Conference on European Economic Integration (CEEI)
The OeNB’s CEEI Conference in Vienna focuses on current Central, Eastern and Southeastern European issues and the ongoing European integration process with a particular relevance for central Banking.
To ensure a sustained impact of its annual CEEI conference, the OeNB has partnered with a renowned publisher (Edward Elgar) to produce a dedicated conference book series. The latest release, entitled “How to finance cohesion in Europe?”, covers the CEEI 2018.
The recent CEEI (November 25 and 26, 2019) focused on the issue of “Looking back on 30 years of transition – and looking 30 years ahead”
This year’s CEEI (scheduled for November 5 and 6, 2020) is dedicated to “CESEE in an integrated world – the role of the EU and global spillovers”
East Jour Fixe
Twice a year, the OeNB invites national and international experts to discuss CESEE-related issues at its “East Jour Fixe,” which it established in 1991.
The 86th East Jour Fixe “Macrofinancial Stability in the Western Balkans” is planned for autumn 2020. The exact date will be announced.
