Description:

This table shows deposit receivables and deposit liabilities in detail. It is roughly differentiated between banks (monetary financial institutions including the central bank) and non-banks (rest of the sector). This table offers an analytical look at the deposit business of banks on the one hand and on outstanding deposits from the rest of the sector on the other. The regional aspect also shows which counterpart countries are of interest to Austrian non-banks for deposit business. Deposits may only be held by banks. This is the reason why the rest of the sector does not include values for deposit liabilities.
