The table shows electronically initiated payments triggered at the point of sale using payment cards issued in Austria, broken down by the top merchant categories in Austria and abroad.

Full survey as part of payment statistics, quarterly.

Reporting institutions:

Payment service providers (credit institutions under EU law, payment institutions, e-money institutions) based in Austria or branches/subsidiaries from the EEA (in accordance with freedom of establishment) provided they are issuers and/or acquirers
