Ukraine: War-time economic resilience and reconstruction with a focus on the energy sector

Conference aspects
Ukraine’s resilience under Russian attack has proven to be strong, not least thanks to continued international support and skillful economic policymaking. However, recent large-scale destruction of infrastructure, in particular for energy production, points toward a further deceleration of economic growth and increasing risks. At the OeNB’s East Jour Fixe, high-level officials from the National Bank of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture will provide first-hand insights into the current economic situation. Further, experts will complement the picture with an update on the security situation and international financial support. A panel discussion on ongoing reforms and reconstruction in the energy sector will round off the event.
